Can from Cap Tap. Can started to mildly gush. Poured dark brn/blk with a huge frothy/foamy dark tan head that to some extent did a Guinness. Aroma is dark fruit with a Demerara sugar accent. Full bodied. Flavor has musty wood, bourbon, chocolate, anise, dark fruits and some sort of treacle/sugar. There's a lot going on here, but the flavors are amazingly parsable. Heat is hard to notice. Good stuff.

Can from Corti Bros. Pours somewhat hazy gold with a nice white head. Aroma of citrus and something that might be golden apple or pear. Med body. Flavor starts with slightly roasty malt, then citrus and then pear/apple or similar. Nice flavor. Reasonably dry. Decently bitter. With a little time I'm voting for pear rather than apple.

On tap at Harry's Hofbrau in Redwood City. Easy drinking all around with the alcohol massively hidden - drinks like a session. Clear, light gold with small white head that lingers as a collar of small bubbles. Orange is overt on both the aroma and flavor. Really nice and smooth beer.

Tap at Cap Hop. Pours brassy gold with a slight white head. Aroma is mildly sourish. The rest of the aroma keeps shifting on me. I’ve gone from lavender to peanuts. Med body. Flavor is floral/fruity and moderately sour. Pale malt is detectable. Now I’m parsing cucumber and gin with a touch of lime. Cucumber gets stronger with time. So does the lime. Took some time to adjust, but the flavor turns out rather tasty.
