Description
We are OMNIVAR, a Slovenian family-owned microbrewery established in 2017. What began as a passion project by a group of beer-lovers who were tired of drinking the same old uninspired beers, has grown into a microbrewery driven by innovation and flavor. We develop our own recipes, which we have refined over the course of five years, and brew small craft batches by hand. We have a selection of eight beers that we brew regularly. Within the selection there is a variety of flavours to accomodate to different tastes and occasions.

Note: Own production ceased in 2023/24. Only contract production for others from then onwards.

Bottle from Craft Room Ljubljana. Pours hazy dark amber. Has some dubbel feel. Bit yeasty, some sweet figs, but sadly also heavy metallic feel. What a pity.

0,5 l bottle thanks to Izi. Pours hazy light straw yellow with medium big, medium lasting, frothy white head. Plenty of lacing. Aroma is medium strong, citruses, lemon in particular, grassy with mild grainy notes, some honey. Taste is light sweet and light to medium bitter, quite bitter for kölsch (style should be golden ale as kölsch is protected for Köln, Germany). Body is light, carbonation average, mouthfeel slick. Finish is medium long, lemon, honey with nice peppery bitterness. Very nice summer beer, refreshing, drinkable and very well made. Perfect for 30 centigrade in the shade summer days...
