Dark hazy amber color, small steady off-white head. Medium-bodied. Bitterish, cracker malty flavor. Some alcohol in the finish.

330 ml bottle, from the brewery, ABV is 6.0%. Pitch black colour, low brown head. Pleasant roasty aroma with notes of chocolate, vanilla and mild coffee, blueberries in the background. The flavour is medium dry, the roastiness (coffee again) is not overdone, and blends in nicely with the fruitiness from the blueberries. A pleasant beer that I’ll be happy to drink again.

Golden color, good white head. Grainy, hoppy, barley aroma. Light-bodied. Clean malty with some grainy notes. A bit boring.

330 ml bottle, from the brewery. ABV is 5.5%. Very dark brown opaque colour, nearly black. Moderate beige head. Nice malty (but not sweetish) aroma, notes of lightly roasted malts and some caramel, burnt breadcrumbs. Medium dry flavour, lightly roasted malts and burnt breadcrumbs again. Not bad.

God.for mye humle for en skotsk ale, men det var vel heller ikke hva de siktet på.pent håndverk.

Nice creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly sweet grainy, caramel malts, dried dark fruits, wet grain, spices, grass, rye bread. Taste is kind of harsh and unbalanced, wet grain, harsh red wine, hay, grass, rye bread. Medium bitterness. Next!!

Appearance: Pitch black color with a small beige head that leaves some lacing.
Aroma: Chocolate, roasted malt, mild fruity and coffee.
Palate: Medium + body. Moderate sweet, and a moderate bitterness. Average to soft carbonation. Semi dry texture.
Taste: Balanced and nice chocolate, roasted malt, fruity (probably berry fruity) and coffee.
Overall impression: I really like stout like this.
Personal stats: Bottle from Vinmonopolet Vika in Oslo, Norway

Sampled at Nærbø Ølfestival 2013. Close to black body with a beige head. Really nice aroma of sweet, mild roasted, dark malt with hint of coffee. Flavor is sweet, light roasted malt, fruity (not necessary blueberry) and moderate bitterness. Medium body and average aftertaste. A nice moderate roasted and smooth, fruity stout. Pleasant, but miss some distinctiveness.

Nice creamy longlasting head. Aroma is sulfur, sour socks, caramel malts, grass, toffee, sugar, hints of butterscotch. Taste is slightly harsh, caramel malts, harsh hay, nuts, burnt caramel, sulfur, grass, sugar. Medium bitterness. No jingles in this bottle at least, bad bad santa!!
