Description
It was 2013, the middle of a recession and money was hard to come by. What better time to set about opening a craft brewery. Twin brothers Padraig and Adrian Hyde decided to take the plunge and follow their hearts on brewing beer that is pure and brewed the way nature intended.

It all started in a 1,300 square foot unit in 2014 and by 2015 we were squeezed for space. Working meant maneuvering around stacks of grains and bottles and gymnastics in the brewery was strictly banned. By mid 2015, it was just too small for our growing brewery so we took the plunge and moved – across the road – to a much larger unit where we are now. Our brewery is an 8 barrel system. Each brewers barrel is roughly the same as 163.6 litres or 287.90 pints. Which means we have ourselves a nifty 2,300 pint brewery.

Bottle at Cotteridge Tasting, Saturday 24th January 2015 Creamy head, it is a rather murky (looks a bit grim) little bit of a tang. I think I may have ended up with the sediment. Little bit of fruit skin, ok. In fact I will mark the appearance as a rather neutral 3/5 as I think I must have had much of the dregs. Btw big thanks to Beersiveknown for all of the Irish beers. Amber, murky, huge head off white that dissipates, over carbonated, poor appearance
Aroma of soft sweet light fruity malt, hint of berry fruits
Taste of soft light sweet malts, slight fruits, rather watery, very little hops, bland and characterless
Palate - Flat as a pancake, light body, slightly oily, soft sweet. Finish is rapid, slight bitterness
Overall - No condition, dull, overall a poor beer, down the sink it goes...

Bottle from Drinkstore, Dublin [100414]
Golden orange, hazy, frothy white head that dissipates
Aroma of soft pale malts...little else
Taste of pale sweet malts, dab of caramel, hardly any hops, soapy malts, rather muddled, quite bland, not a good flavour
Palate - Medium carb, light to medium body, some alcohol noticeable, fairly sweet. Finish as main flavour, slightly dry, touch of cereal
Overall - Not a good beer...I only drank half the bottle. One to re-rate in the future and see if it’s improved...

Bottle. I think this May be off, murky orange with no head. Heavily fermented smell. Flavour is marmalade, sticky. Not sure it should taste like this. Will try this one again if I come across it.

Bottle. Chestnut with a medium head. Aroma is sweet malt. Flavour is heavy on the malty side. Nutty and a little caramel roast. Sweet finish, nothing remarkable.
