Description
Our brewery started life up in Morpeth, Northumberland, back in 2012. One name change later, we settled on being called Anarchy Brew Co. and started brewing our core beers, packed with flavour that we still make today (Blonde Star and Citra Star). After running out of room at the old site, we decided we needed somewhere bigger. And in October we moved to new digs in Newcastle upon Tyne, where you’ll find us today. The new Anarchy brewery opened its doors in October 2018 in Walkergate, with the added bonus of our new taproom.

44 cl can @ Loimaa, BBE 08/2023 Aroma has grapefruity and grassy hops. Flavour has grapefruity hops, fruit juice. Mild hop burn in the finish. Pretty good for this ABV.

Cask at the Cock & Bull, Amble. Pours hazy yellow to brown with a thin white head. Aromas of juicy mango and tinned pineapple. Taste is more of the same. Light sweet finish.

Can from the Amble grocer. Pours hazy yellow with a thick white head. Aromas of light tropical fruit and citrus. Taste is more of the same. Light chalky note on the finish.

Can 440ml (KCM Puuvilla) Hazy yellow colour, small white head. Pineapple, citrus and Sabro coconut/mint in the nose. Light-bodied. Flavour is similar than nose. Sabro is quite dominant with toothpaste and coconut. Then grapefruit. Ok.

Draught@Littlepub, Vaasa. Hazy yellowish golden colour with a small white foamy head, which leaves some lace. Aroma is fruity, floral, some mild wooden and mild earthy tones. Flavour is fruity, floral, some mild funk with mild wooden and some herbal tones. Mild bitterness in the finish. Surprisingly watery for being Anarchy.

Canned (with Mats). Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is fruity, floral, nectary with some earthy tones. Flavour is fruity, flora, some herbbal and citrusy tones. Light spiciness on the tongue.

Canned. Deep ambery brown with a mediumsized foamy off-white head. Aroma is burnt sugar, some toasted malts, mild herbs and earth. Flavour is sweet malts, caramel, some toffee as well as mild nutty and some spicy notes.

Can. Hazy yellow colour with a fluffy white head. Aroma is malts, some herbs, a bit citrus and mild grainy notes. Flavour is crisp malts, some toffee, mild citrus, grass and herbs to it. A bit mild spiciness to it as well.

Pints at Thomsons. Pours hazy golden with a thick white head. Aromas of bread and oranges. Taste has toffee too. Clean finish.
