T42 tasting on me Birfaday. Thanks to Dan for this relic. Clear dark brown beer, a few tan bubbles. Palate is light and dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Musty tangy sour dark malts. Tangy dried fruits. Musty dry finish. Knackered but not undinkable.

Bottle shared at the level 42 tasting 7/9/2016. Many thanks to to Daniel for this one. A dark brown reddy coloured pour with a a halo of loose beige head. Aroma is sweaty socks, woody, burnt sugars. Flavour is composed of dark mlats, brown sugars, woody roast, charred wood, earthy. Palate is stale and lowish carbonation, woody. Not a big fan.

Bottle shared in London - many thanks to Danny. Vintage ale - best before 2009. Pours black-brown with a creamy, tan head. Seems knackered by the aroma, musty earth, old leathery berries. Light sweet flavour with some baking cocoa, more musty notes, s or he’d earth, old wood. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Musty finish, with earthy notes, drying wood, cocoa, used leather. So so.

Bottle thanks to Dirty D. BBF 21/11/2009. It pours black with a small tan head. The aroma is earthy, musty, dirty, dusty, liquorice, fruit cake and raisin. The taste is dry, toasty, earthy roast, wood, dusty, pond, dirty, chewy, oxidise vibe, mild liquorice, sweet treacle and leather with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Pretty old and fucked. Could have been good back in the day.
