Can to thistle.
Appearance: dark to ruby brown/mahogany colored with a three finger eggshell white foamy head which slid off nicely to leave some light lace.
Aroma: earthy to caramelly tones up front then a lighter note of peat in the background; light herbal and floral hops? or perhaps I should just say qualities as it doesn't actually seem distinguishable enough
Flavor: combines the prior noted aromas together somewhat sweet with a kind earthy character rolling in underneath; finishes somewhat caramelly and earthy
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable; fairly smooth along the tongue
Overall: it's not a bad Scotch ale but perhaps a more "peaty" character might be needed for this one to take off.

Can to tulip.
Appearance: burnt amber color with some transparency; two finger white foamy head which slid off nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: earthy to floral hop setting with a clean caramel/toffee malt base
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas together leaning towards more of a bitter level; slight sweet tones of the hops underneath; finishes with the floral hops and malts
Texture: light to medium bodied, somewhat sessionable; some smoothness on the tongue but also some astringent hoppiness
Overall: this is an old school DIPA that I didn't mind so much for me but I understand the kids these days won't like this.

Red brown with a large tan head that left great lacing. Woody, toasty and astringent. Medium finish and body.

Dark gold with a small white head. Yeasty and musty with fruit, faint vinegar and a hint of medicine. Long finish. Moderately full bodied.

Hazy pink with a medium sized white head. Tart and tangy with a plum note. Long finish. Medium body.

Murky peach with a large whit head that left good lacing. Tart and tangy with golden fruit and vanilla. Long finish. Medium body.

Dark brown with a small beige head that left decent lacing. Toasty, woody and bready with a dark fruit note. Medium finish and body.

Dark gold with a medium sized foamy head. Grainy with artificial blueberry. Medium finish and body.

Hazy gold with a large white head that left great lacing. Sweet pineapple and underlying graininess. Medium finish and body.
