Dark brown color with a sweet whiskey aroma. Taste is sweet from whiskey and then typical brown ale flavors of coffee, wood, nutty. Not overpowering with the whiskey.

Can from Premier Gourmet. Copper coloured. Lots of caramel malts. Pine hops, quite harsh and bitter, not much else going on. Not good at all.

Draught, at the brewing. Reddish orange with small foamy off-white head, light caramel aroma, high carbonation, mildly bitter caramel taste, thin body, longish caramel finish. Well brewed.

Draught @ the brewery. Clear dark brown with slight reddish tint against the light, very small frothy beige head that goes fast, faint mocha aroma, low carbonation, sweetish mocha taste hint of cardamom, thin watery body, medium finish. The flavor profile is nice but weak and watery.

Draught @ the brewery. Clear reddish copper with foamy off-white head, very faint caramel aroma, low carbonation, medium bitter citrus peel taste on rye foundation, smooth body, long finish. Tasty.
