Description
"How can we make a beer that can express Korea?"
Wild Wave, which started from one question,
found the answer with Wild Beer, which contains natural yeast.
Wild Wave believes that yeast is the component of beer that best represents the local color. In Korea in particular, yeast has been with us in our lives as a variety of fermented foods, from traditional food kimchi to various sauces and traditional liquor.
Wild Wave uses yeast, which is a part of our lives, to differentiate itself from existing beers while also trying to capture the various individualities and characteristics of local beers.
Wild Wave also remembers the sincerity and effort of many people who went into making beer. That is why we want to convey this through content and culture and contribute to the diversity of our lives. Wild Wave
wants to share and talk about Wild Beer, which contains our values, with many people.
Through this, we hope that our beer can become a gift that can provide you with a fun and new experience in your daily life.

Many thanks to Vincent (nerdboy19) for bringing this beer from Korea! Great fresh floral nose. Lots of aroma hops there, fruity herbal. The beer starts sourish fresh. Not too intense sour but round and smooth. The aroma-hops are a bit behind the mild sourness, very well-balanced, intense smooth and very refreshing. In the aftertaste there are a few aroma-hops behind a nice fruity and round smooth sourness. Fantastic round brew!

Many thanks to Vincent (nerdboy19) for bringing this beer from Korea! Great fresh and fruity nose. The beer starts very fruity. The hibiscus is there and some interesting fresh fruity aroma (I’ve never tasted the five-flavour berries before). Great fresh ground beer with hints of grain, gerat sourish funky farmhouse-ale and a dry body with a great combination of the used fruits. Long fruity-bitter-funky-dry aftertaste, round and refreshing. A great brew!

(Verkostung: 23.8.2016.)

On tap at the taproom. Citrus Amber 4.5% 18 IBU Vienna lager. Amber brown with an off-white head and great citrusy hop bouquet with a touch of dankness. Medium bodied with a scratchy carbonation and dry finish. The taste is lemon tarts, biscuits and hints of caramel. I am not a big Vienna lager guy but I enjoyed this balanced citrusy take on one.

On tap at the taproom. Brett IPA 6.7% 48 IBUs Clear gold with a thick soapy looking white head of foam. The aroma is bitter funk, sweet tarts, citrus, farmyard - it reminds me of US brett IPAs or Saisons. A really appetizing aroma. Fairly full bodied with an ascerbic dry finish. The taste is mouth puckeringly bitter but with sweet lemon drops and funk flavors. An easy drinking IPA.

Not sure what those guys were drinking but it was probably not version 2. Surleim 2 5.3% 22 IBU bright clear gold pour. White pepper, belgian spice/funk and mild lactic acid. Medium bodied, acidic, tart, smooth, lactic acid edging towards baby sick, very acidic and dry - not for me.
