Tap. Murky amber, smallish white head - a murmur from behind the bar that perhaps the keg is coming to an end, but the beer is otherwise fine. 3- Aroma kumquat, very ripe tropical fruit, pine, bread. Lighter bodied than expected and not as sweet. Lots of tenor register citrus, resin, spices. A little booze shows towards the end. Strong bitterness. The Winston is just a few doors down from Hop Products Australia and they've done pretty well here.

Bottle shared in Bermondsey / thanks to Tipple. Pours clear orange-gold with a tight, creamy white head. The nose holds rich malts, caramel, ripe citrus, oranges. Medium sweet flavour with hearty bready malts, some bitter grass, toasted caramel, hints of earth, jammy citrus. Medium to full bodied, lightly oily, with fine carbonation. Warming finish, with notes of toasted grains, dried caramel, ripe citrus fruits. Good stuff overall.

Partizan bottleshare. Light haze on this gold - amber beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is smooth and dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Smooth sweetish malts, quite dry, little caramel. Some light brandy. Modest dried fruits. Little vanilla. Light dry finish. Spicy linger. Tidy barleywine, could probably do with a year.

On tap at the Gertrude Hotel, pours a cloudy golden orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out candied sugar, orange rind and citrus hops. Flavour brings out loads of citrus hops upfront, followed by some pine, and slight residual sweetness. Decently integrated but a little sweet and messy.
