On tap at Špunka, Vilnius. Gold, hazy, the tiniest bit of head. Intense pine resin, floral, tropical fruit aroma. The taste, while certainly pleasant, is a climb-down from the scent: a fairly basic bittersweet with a medium to long bittersweet finish. Thin body. I like it but I have had better.

Tap at Baras Šuo, Vilnius. Black and foreboding. Opaque with small tan head. Aroma is liquorice, metal.. A bit chemical. Taste is a vast improvement. Sweet and malty with an intense sour/sweet liquorice bite. Thin body but this doesn’t detract very much from the experience. Has its flaws but decent enough overall.

1,5L bottle (from Špunka). Pours dark brown with beige head. The head stays for a moment. Aroma is nice full black bread, raisins, malt. Flavor is sweet, rye bread, caramel, and faint acidic notes. Body is watery, carbonation is rather high. Overall: nice low alcohol brew, maybe a tad bit too watery for me. At least it isn’t too acidic like most of the commercial kvass/gira/kali.

Smaksprøve fra Rune. Mørk aprikosfarget. Uklar. Litt skum langs glasset. Aroma av bær. Smaken er rips. Uvariert.

500ml bottle, trade with Knut Albert. Filmy layer to a hazy apricot coloured body. Sweet grainy aroma with hints of butter. Flavour of buttery caramel and bread. Slightly tart ending. Drinkable, however not in its best shape (Tromsø 22.04.2015).
