Can. 7% ABV, labelled a springtime ale. Amber with a white head. High bead. Aroma of biscuit, quite puncy spices, some honeydew melon, orange. Rich and hearty biscuity malt is not that sweet with spicy and surprisingly resinous bitterness building towards the end. Good, much more like an ESA than expected.

From a 375ml can on 20/5/2018. Pours a clearish golden with a biggish white head. The aroma is indistinct. The flavour is slightly fruity, but a chemical bitterness prevails, which is just a bit harsh. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Can taste the Belgian yeast. But it doesn't help. Not good.

From a 375ml bottle on 4/3/2018. Pours a deep golden with a small head. Nose is slightly fruity and there is a hint of coconut. Flavour wise, it features some indistinct fruit sweetness followed by a pretty blunt, slightly harsh bitterness. 21IBU doesn't seem quite right. Medium bodied with average carbonation. An odd experience, and a bit of a failure for mine.

Light sweet flavour with more dried berries, burnt toast, chocolate accents. Meidum bodied, lightly oily, with fine carbonation. Can. Almost clear amber with light beige head. 3+ A: Pine, grapefruit, some toast, alcohol. Not a lot of body. Tastes pretty much as the aroma suggested it would with very strong bitterness. Although there's lots of pine it's not an abrasive finish. Some golden raisins. It's raucous and fine but not terribly drinkable.
