Description
Shilling Brewing Co. is the first to bring the brewpub experience to the heart of Glasgow. A place where an appreciation of the art and science of brewing is at the core of what we do and for all to see, taste and enjoy.

Glasgow has been pioneering the perfect pint for over 400 years and the Shilling Brewing Co. is contributing to the next chapter in this story by creating a space where everyone can discover and appreciate beer, straight from the source.

This includes our core range of beers designed to be enjoyed fresh, just meters from where they are brewed, alongside a host of beers sourced from pioneering craft breweries.

Keg at Shilling. It pours hazy golden - orange with a thick, fluffy white head. The aroma is soft, musty, damp grain, toasty, bread, biscuit, grass, some spice, green banana and nuttiness. The taste is super smooth, green banana, toasty grain, wheat bread, muted spice, biscuit, bread and damp grass with a smooth finish. Average body and moderate, fluffy carbonation. Flavourful and well rounded for the style.

Ayrshire Coastal Walking Mini Break Beer#1. Arrival in Glasgow quickish half. Clear golden lager, quite clean and crisp and drinkable, although nothing too exciting beyond this.

Keg at the Paisley Craft Beer Festival. Aromas are awful. Baby sick, parmesan and socks. Somethings gone wrong with this one. Taste is a bit better, but I'm not going in for a second. Texturally OK I guess, but this is flawed.
