A large tulip glass from the tap at the brew pub. Serves a deep red colour with a beige head. Aromas and tastes of malt, earth, toffee & fruits. Very good red ale.

Keg at the Paisley Craft Beer Festival. Aromas are awful. Baby sick, parmesan and socks. Somethings gone wrong with this one. Taste is a bit better, but I'm not going in for a second. Texturally OK I guess, but this is flawed.

Keg at the Paisley Craft Beer Festival. Pours amber with a creamy off-white head. Aromas of bread and toffee. Taste is mainly bready, some caramel & toffee. Dry roasty finish.

Nose - bread and toffee.
Taste - mainly bready, some caramel & toffee.
Palate - light to medium bodied, some sweetness, dry roasty finish.
Overall - ok.
