Sampled on draft this beer poured a murky pale yellow color with a medium sized creamy white head that left good lacing. The aroma was musty, citric and yeasty. The flavor was musty, grainy and yeasty with faint notes of citrus and phenol. Long musty and grainy finish. Medium body.

Keg at BD TH, 13/06/18. Lightly hazed golden orange with a decent off white cap. Nose is citric sherbets, light breads, tangerine, melon. Taste comprises orange peel, mineral bite, toasted grains, melon, citric tinged straw. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with moderate hop bitterness. Passable session affair.

Sample at the Columbus taproom. Dark brown color with a thin beige head that diminishes quickly to a film. Strings of lace. Aroma of roast malt, hops and caramel. Light-bodied with flavors of charred malt, caramel and slight fruity hops. The finish is smoky with a malty aftertaste. Decent overall.

Sample at the Columbus taproom. Brown-black pour with a medium khaki head that diminishes gradually to a dense film. Small patches of lace. Aroma of roast malt, chocolate and citrus. Medium body with flavors of charred malt, orange and fudge. The finish is roasty with a caramel malt aftertaste. Above average overall.

Sample at the Columbus taproom. Brown-black pour with a thin beige head that recedes quickly to a wispy film. Sparse patches of lace. Aroma of roast malt, oak and dark chocolate. Medium body with flavors of rum, smoked malt, bittersweet chocolate and vanilla. The finish is oaky with a malt and rum aftertaste. Pretty good overall.
