Sample at the Columbus taproom during the "Power of Sour - Sour Beer Takeover" event on 04/28/2018. Slightly hazy orange color with a thin white head that evaporates quickly to a film. Spotty lace. Aroma of citrus, wheat and malt. Light-bodied with flavors of mildly tart orange, wheat and doughy malt. The finish is mildly tart with a citrusy aftertaste. Decent overall.

Short strings of lace. Aroma of tropical fruit, wheat and malt. Medium body with flavors of mango, wheat, yeast and doughy malt. The finish is tart with a mango and guava aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

16 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 4/3/2018. Pours fairly hazy golden amber/light orange color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy off white head with decent retention, that reduces to a nothing pretty quickly. Minimal lacing, some sticking bubbles on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big juicy/tart/tangy peaches, blood orange, fruit skin, lemon, lime, pear, red/green apple, melon, white wine, hay, straw, grass, wheat, cracker, light pepper/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of fruit, fruity/acidic yeast, and light-moderate pale/wheat malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big juicy/tart/tangy peaches, blood orange, fruit skin, lemon, lime, pear, red/green apple, melon, white wine, hay, straw, grass, wheat, cracker, light pepper/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate fruity/lactic tart/sourness, fruit tang, and light spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of sour/tart/tangy peaches, blood orange, fruit skin, lemon, lime, pear, red/green apple, melon, white wine, hay, straw, grass, wheat, cracker, light pepper/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruit, fruity/acidic yeast, and light-moderate pale/wheat malt flavors; with a nice malt/tart/sourness and tangy fruit balance. Mild lingering pucker through the glass, but not overwhelming. Moderate increasing dryness from tart/sourness and tangy fruit. Medium carbonation and light body; with a very smooth, moderately grainy/acidic/tangy/tannic, and fairly crisp balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.2%. Overall this is a delicious fruited Berliner weisse. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruit, fruity/acidic yeast, and light-moderate pale/wheat malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, and pretty refreshing to drink with the moderately acidic/tangy/tannic/drying finish, not overly lactic. Balanced juicy fruits and Lacto; with a solid pale/wheat malt backbone against acidity. A very enjoyable offering, and spot on style example as expected.

Dekalb Food Hall can: pours hazy with a creamy white head. Aroma is citrus and malty backbone. Taste is sweet, somewhat fruity. Tasted kind of old. Not sure if it was. Very meh.

Pours moderately hazy/cloudy medium golden yellow color with a small dense and fluffy white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of lemon, orange, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, grapefruit, mango, melon, red apple, passion fruit, berry, citrus zest, light pepper/pine, wheat, white bread dough, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with fruity/citrus/tropical hops, fruity yeast, and bready malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of lemon, orange, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, grapefruit, mango, melon, red apple, passion fruit, berry, citrus zest, light pepper/pine, wheat, white bread dough, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Very mild pine, zesty, herbal, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of lemon, orange, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, grapefruit, mango, melon, red apple, passion fruit, berry, citrus zest, light pepper/pine, wheat, white bread dough, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/citrus/tropical hops, fruity yeast, and bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance; and zero cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/grainy, and lightly sticky mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol for 7%. Overall this is a very nice NEIPA. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/citrus/tropical hops, fruity yeast, and bready malt flavors; very smooth and pretty refreshing to drink, with the mildly bitter/drying finish. Awesomely soft feel. Pretty unique hop profile from Calista, Loral, Mosaic, Chinook, and Amarillo; with balanced Voss Kveik yeast character. Very juicy and lightly dank hop/yeast complexity; perfectly balanced oat/wheat/pale malt backbone, with mild residual sweetness. A very enjoyable offering, and spot on style example. Really well made.

Slightly hazy golden coloured body with a thin white head, about a centimetre tall that fades quickly. Aroma of pure ginger root, light lemons and zest with a touch of coriander seed, some lighter yeast flavours and a dose of dry grass and even more ginger (powder this time instead of the actual root) around the edges. Light-bodied; Sharpish flavour showing at first of the ginger, and then the wheat and coriander seed show through and leave a nice and subtle, smooth yet flavourful profile with some tart and dry, herbal flavours but the ginger and the grain are by far the strongest. Aftertaste shows the ginger very strongly with some light wheat and coriander seed freshness along with a hint of tart lemon zest and essence and a touch of the herbal elements at the finish. Overall, a nice and dry beer with some citrus and lemon flavours, but the ginger flavour is by far the strongest and while this is light and easy-to-drink, fairly simplistic and not horribly complex I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased a few hours ago from Belmont Party Supply in Dayton, Ohio on 25-June-2018 for US$2,25 sampled in my hotel room here in Dayton on the one day I'm here on 25-June-2018.

Refrigerated 16 oz. aluminum can poured into a glass. Hazy golden with small white head. Aroma is orange blossom, medium/light body, little carbonation, and little lacing. Taste is light orange blossoms and a little brine.

Sampled on draft this beer poured a black color with an enormous fluffy beige head that lingered forever and left good lacing. The aroma was malty, toasty and woody. The flavor was bitter and malty with a chocolate note. Medium length finish. Full bodied and smooth.
