Description
Platform was founded in 2014 on the premise that collaboration should be at the cornerstone of everything that we do. Whether it be with pro brewers, the home brewing world or a variety of other industries, beer is special and should be shared.
From humble beginnings, brewing on a 3 bbl brewhouse in Cleveland, Platform has expanded to a second Tasting Room in Columbus, a Production Facility in Cleveland, a Cincinnati Tasting Room named LOCOBA and a Sour Beer Facility named Phunkenship
We brew high-quality craft beers for sale in our tasting rooms and distribute throughout Ohio. Expect a mix of ever-changing styles inspired by beer trends.

On draft at 3rd Turn Brewing in Louisville. It is a cloudy yellow color with an off white head. The Aroma is of a creamsicle. The taste is sweet like cough medicine and then turns bitter with some orange sherbet and bubble gum.

12 ounce can into pint glass, canned on 5/14/2018. Pours slightly hazy deep golden amber color with a 2 finger dense and rocky off white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Thick soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big lemon, orange, grapefruit, peach, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, watermelon, guava, berries, citrus peel/rind, peppercorn, pine, toasted biscuit, honey, light caramel, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops, lemon zest, and bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big lemon, orange, grapefruit, peach, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, watermelon, guava, berries, citrus peel/rind, peppercorn, pine, toasted biscuit, light honey/caramel, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of lemon, orange, grapefruit, peach, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, watermelon, guava, berries, citrus peel/rind, peppercorn, pine, toasted biscuit, honey, light caramel, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops, lemon zest, and bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and no lingering hop astringency after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately crisp, creamy/bready/grainy/sticky, and fairly resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.7%. Overall this is an awesome session IPA! All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops, lemon zest, and bready malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, and pretty refreshing to drink with the modestly bitter/resinous/drying finish, not overly aggressive. Very flavorful with a great malt body for the ABV. Citra showcase; with added Galena, El Dorado, and Centennial. Very juicy, dank, and earthy balanced hop complexity; great bready Munich malt backbone; and minimal residual sweetness from lingering dryness. A really enjoyable offering. Best in the series so far.

Can (which has embarrassingly sat in the basement fridge for a VERY long time. Maybe a year?) Pours a clean coppery orange with a small head and very malty aromas. Kind of a marzen/octoberfest thing going with a sticky and sweet nose. Flavor is more of the same and if you had blind tested me on this I probably would have guessed octoberfest as the genre. Go figure. It's sweet and sticky with a decent flavor. Tastes good and I'll have to pick it up again and try it fresh some time.

Can. Interesting beverage - heavy on apple - goes down quite smooth. Not bad.

On draught at 101 Beer Kitchen Westerville during the "Mid-Week Beer Geek w/ Jackie O's, MadTree & Fat Heads" event on 05/16/2018. Cloudy yellow-orange color with a thin white head that dissipates quickly to a wispy film. Spotty lace. Aroma of smoked malt, fruit and a bit of hops. Light-bodied with flavors of smoky malt, strawberry and hops. The finish is fruity with a mild strawberry aftertaste. Decent overall.
