From a can this smells like a good sharp saison. Slight haze on pale, thick head. Nice big bold saison flavor with a touch of tartness. It's the kind of tartness that is lacking in many domestic saisons today. Good co2, and almost refreshing. A little bit of medicinal bitterness lingers in the middle but its just barely. An even keel fun farmhouse ale. Very much like many of the real saisons I've had form the old country. In the end, you can't really detect the ginger so I guess its well balanced. Finish is much better than expected. Not as good as De Garde Petit Desay, Tired Hands HandFarm, Butler Brew Works Saison Terrior or even Jolly Pumpkin Bam Bière, but pretty darn good!

12 ounce can into pint glass, canned on 7/9/2018. Pours slightly hazy golden amber color with a 1-2 finger dense and rocky off white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Thick soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big apricot, peach, pear, orange, grapefruit, pineapple, mango, melon, passion fruit, papaya, blackberry, raspberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/rind, mint, wood, peppercorn, pine, toasted biscuit, light honey/caramel/nutty, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Nice aromas with good balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt notes; with great strength. A bit too malty/muddy on aromas. Taste of big apricot, peach, pear, orange, grapefruit, pineapple, mango, melon, passion fruit, papaya, blackberry, raspberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/rind, mint, wood, peppercorn, pine, toasted biscuit, light honey/caramel/nutty, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of apricot, peach, pear, orange, grapefruit, pineapple, mango, melon, passion fruit, papaya, blackberry, raspberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/rind, mint, wood, peppercorn, pine, toasted biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and minimal lingering hop astringency after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium-high carbonation and medium body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/grainy, sticky/resinous/rindy, and fairly crisp balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.7%. Overall this is a very nice session IPA. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, and pretty refreshing to drink, despite the increasingly bitter/resinous/drying finish. Not too aggressive. Full hop bill is Callista, Galena, El Dorado, Centannial; but the huge stone fruit/berry notes from the Callista are most prominent. Very unique profile as was with the Ariana hop Kolsch I had from them previously. Nice balance of juicy, dank, and earthy hop complexity; nice bready pale/munich malt backbone, minimal residual sweetness from lingering dryness. A very enjoyable offering, and well made style example. Grew on me through the glass.

Sample at The Olde Towne Tavern during the "Sippin' on Sours 2nd Anniversary " event on 05/14/2018. Clear pale golden color with a thin white head that evaporates quickly to an outer ring. Short strings of lace. Citrus, cucumber and wheat aroma. Light-bodied with flavors of tart lemon, cucumber, wheat and biscuit malt. The finish is tart with a citrus and cucumber aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Man, when I saw this pounder can I couldn't wait to taste it. Sampled slightly below room temp. Pour is a thinner hefe-looking brew, cloudy and all. First taste is as expected, even when warm, it leaves a tart light feel on the tongue, pretty good. This stuff is refreshing at warm temp, I bet an ice cold one couldn't be beat. Easy, friendly with very little if any ill ale attributes, Lust for a nice well behaved simple civilized brew-yea. Can't really pick out the bl'orange thing in this one, must be quite muted. Very little fruit in the forefront of this beer, more like clean, straight-up, untouched berliner. Thanks!

On tap at Man In the Moon. Almost clear reddish/orange with a small white head. Quite tart with raspberries, some citrus and yeast. Also some funk in the finish. The body was light.

Taste of big grapefruit, orange juice, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, mango, melon, papaya, guava, berry, citrus zest, slight pepper/pine, wheat, white bread dough, light honey, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Very minimal pine, zesty, herbal, grassy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of grapefruit, orange juice, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, mango, melon, papaya, guava, berry, citrus zest, slight pepper/pine, wheat, white bread dough, light honey, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a while. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical hops, fruity yeast, and bready malt flavors; with no cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Slightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth, creamy/silky/bready, and slightly sticky mouthfeel that is fantastic. No warming alcohol for 6.2%. Overall this is a delicious NEIPA! All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical hops, fruity yeast, and bready malt flavors; extremely smooth and pretty refreshing to drink with the very minimal bitter/drying finish. Perfectly soft feel. El Dorado, Citra, Centennial hops. Extremely juicy hops and Kviek yeast; perfectly balanced wheat/oat/malts, not overly sweet. A very enjoyable offering, and spot on style example.

Finish is meh

Can. A- Berry, mild apple. A- Purple color, hazy liquid, off white head. T- Berry, apple. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, sweet finish. O- Sorta bland honestly. Expected more blueberry but got a mixed berry feel and really not too sweet.
