Can. Amber-brown beer with a dark cream head. Grapefruit aroma. Grapefruit and citrus flavor with light summer fruit, light pine, and light caramel. Medium bodied. Good bitterness. Spice and grapefruit linger with pine, light tropical fruit, and backing caramel.

Draft at Beer Baron. Hazy golden pour, with slight creamy head. Fruity, dank aroma. Taste too is a nice blend if citrus and fragrant, earthy hops. Not bad overall, but has a wonderful mouth feel.

Tasting at Matt's
Amber color, hazy, dull, small head. Very malty, with caramel, moderately sweet, with resiny and orangey hops.
Old style IIPA, but competently brewed.

22 oz. bottle, pours a hazy dark amber orange with a small beige head. Aroma brings out resinous hops, sugary caramel and candied sugar. Flavour is quite sweet, with candied sugar, resinous hops, and caramel malts. Quite sweet, a bit too much so. Decent.

Amber, no head. This has a nice fruity aroma, apricot. On the palate, it has a nice bitterness, piney, bright citrus. The malts are a bit heavy, but the hops are bright and tasty.

Poured up at Ratebeer Best 2017 Beer Fest where it exhibits a dark mahogany colored body that supports a thin mocha colored head. The aroma offers up nice earthy coffee notes that border on being rich and indulgent. Itβs kind of dark roasted coffee and burnt malts and a nice layer of dark roasted malts. The taste delivers smoothness with dark roasted malts and dark roasted coffee. The coffee gets a little richer and a touch oily to midway. It kind of stays that way right into the finish. Pretty nice easy drinking Imperial Stout that pulls out a bit of chocolate every now and then too.
