On tap at Hearthstone, pours a hazy amber with a small beige head. Aroma brings out resinous hops and bready caramel malt. Flavour is robust, with lots of resinous hops, caramel bready malt and a nice kick of astringency on the finish. Robust and packs a punch on the hops. Very nice heavily hopped amber ale.

On tap at Hearthstone, pours a clear pale copper yellow with a small white head. Aroma is very restrained, with light herbal hops and biscuity malt. Flavour is very laid back, with herbal hops, light grass and biscuity malt. Too herbal, bordering on skunky and lacking depth.

On tap at Hearthstone, pours a clear pale golden with a medium white head. Aroma brings out loads of passionfruit upfront, followed by plenty of yogurty lacto and light citrus. Flavour follows accordingly, with juicy citrus and passionfruit upfront, followed by tons of lacto. Dry, yogurty finish, where the fruit disappears. Not particularly complex, but it's clean and well-structured. Solid.

Pale blond color. It’s very dry, it’s clean, and it’s a bit crisp; don’t expect any malt or hop flavor, just a weak watery thing, not much better than some macro lager. So I don’t see why drinking it, and why brewing it. Terribly boring.

Medium brown. Light chocolate nose, moderate bitterness and a light nuttiness. Probably better than I expected. But still not my type of beer.

Very pale straw, thin head. Not much nose...stale hops and graininess. Thin body...really like a heavy-bodies macro swill, grainy with vague hop. "A great alternative to mainstream, big brewery lager" - I can’t believe in 2017 a craft brewer would think like this.

Light gold. Thin head. Not a lot of aroma, and the flavour is sort of muted. Vaguely continental hop, fair bit of sweet clean pale malts. Not really playing to the style’s strengths.

Draught at the forno. Light gold, thin head. Stewed fruit hop nose is disconcerting. On the palate, it’s worse, dropping Big League Chew all over the place. Weird. An IPA? Gotta QC that batch, guys. If your yeast gets away from you and kicks off phenols like this in an IPA, you gotta dump that.

Dull light brown. Mild bitterness, lots of artificial vanilla...crackery malt base. Honestly as disappointing and one-dimensional as I thought it would be.

Kinda sorta a callback on Taylor’s Crossing ESB? Dull amber-brown, bright, thin head. Earthy, lots of toasty malts, slight brown sugar, fairly chewy. Not tasting or smelling much Citra, nor would I expect to, as it is really the wrong hop for this type of beer. Clean, foreign-made bitter...needs a more prominent British yeast character and hop profile
