Bottle from the brewery. Black pour, with a small brown head. Aroma is earthy, and spicy. Notes of cinnamon, vanilla, earthy barrel and some roasty coffee. Silky, velvety mouth feel, with a soft carb. Finish is spicy, hints of heat, more cinnamon, and subtly sweet vanilla. Alcohol is well hidden, loads of roast in the end with more coffee overall spiciness.

Can from the brewery. Dark brown pour, with a small off white head. Cinnamon is up front, with a soft vanilla and a chewy, caramel, nutty brown ale base. Solid mouth feel and a soft carb. Low bitterness, sweet malts, caramel and loads more cinnamon. Vanilla fades, cinnamon dominates.

Can from Sawdust city brewery. Cloud yellow pour, huge white head. Aroma is very tart, big notes of lemon and lemon oil. Tartness is kept in check but it big and bold. Light tropical fruit, dominated by lemon though. Tartness fades in the end, but it's potent and quite refreshing with a strong dry, tart finish.

Can from the brewery. Hazy orange, big off white head. Loads of citrus Aroma, some resinous pine, just alot of hops all around. Big mouth feel, lively carb. Finish is medium to highly bitter. Just an all around hop bomb. Over the top for the sake of being over the top. Not very complex, meh.

Can from the brewery. Cloudy, hazy beige, and pink pour, with a large off white head. Aroma as intense tropical fruit with some strawberry puree and hints if vanilla and citrus zest. Mouth feel is silky, carb is lively yet, subtle. Finish has a distinct tang, and a touch if tartness with a strong fresh berry puree flavour with a tropical sweetness in the end.

Bottle from the brewery. Jet black pour, two fingers of mocha head. Aroma is tart, and very acidic. Roasty and chocolaty, with some soft oak, and vanilla. Mouth feel is oily, and not as thick as I expected. Carb is soft, and the finish is medium highly bitter. The barrel shows up more at the end, very earthy and the berries add a solid tartness. The berries are present but not the star of the show at all.

Can from the brewery. Hazy amber, large off white head. Obviously it’s similar to the other terroir project wet hop ale, but this one is alot more floral. More herbal notes and grasses with more of a pronounced pine hop flavour as opposed to a citric hope profile. Light bitterness, hints if citrus in the end, but alot of mind and grass. Interesting to see the differences.

Can from Sawdust City’s brewhouse. Different label than the Stone City entry, different hop bill, and different alcohol content. Pours a very murky orange, with a small white head. Lots of tropical and stone fruit in the nose with some citrus oils. Motuhfeel is thin, but vibrant and effervescent. Finish is quite sour, very lactic, and some of the oats come through in a sofe cereal character with more stone fruit.
