A hazed dark amber ale with a thin off white head. In aroma, smooth maple syrup, cherries, Porto, superb. In mouth, a smooth fruity caramel malt with vinous notes, light floral hops, cork character, very smooth. Bottle at Sacred Oak fest.

650mL bottle, sent from wilco (thanks a lot, Mike), pours a cloudy golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings juicy citrus and piney hops, some residual sugars, and a crackery malt backbone. Flavour is identical, with a nice crackery malt backing, paving way for the dry piney and citrus hop forward quality. Nice and dry, with just enough juicy sweetness. Very nice stuff.

After missing this year’s National Capital Craft Beer Festival, had to had this one at home, as last year, had a blast with brewmaster Sam at the fest. Pours a hazy light golden colour with a nice white head that is frothy, but gets creamy with long retention and lots of lacing. Fresh grass nose with hints of pine and citrus. Also, Belgian Ale yeast, blonde ale grain and some fruity notes. The taste is nicely balanced between the hoppiness, the blonde grain and the Belgian Ale yeast. A very nice mix between and Belgian Strong Ale and an IIPA. Bomber from the LCBO 9% ABV, written on label.

650mL bottle, sent from wilco (thanks a lot, Mike), pours a cloudy dark orange with a large white head. Aroma brings out loads of piney hops, a little citrus zest, and some crisp crackery malt - loads of pine though. Flavour brings out a huge wallop of intensely bitter piney hops - oh man is this piney and hoppy. Super dry, fairly astringent, but super drinkable. Excellent IPA.
