Bottle from the LCBO. Pours a hazy very pale gold with a small white head that quickly fades to a film. Nose has lots of floral hops with mild citrus notes. A good dose of bready yeast but also an underlying bit of cat pee. A light sweet start with some moderate bitter citrus and pine in the middle that gets overpowered by a very disturbing metallic skunkiness. I’m hoping that this is an off bottle. I expect to revisit this at some point as what I’m drinking now doesn’t correspond to the other reviews. Mouth is medium and very chewy. Not going to finish this one...

That poor lone pine. I found a better home for him. In my belly. You won’t be lonely there with all those other beers. (It is a beer belly after all. My wife is so proud.) Pours a cloudy caramel with a finger of fully, off white head. Nose dominated by pine hops with solid malt in the back. The taste is good, those similar pine hops, but additionally a perfume flavour to the hops profile as well. Decent malt flavour and an lingering bitterness. Not bad.

On tap at The Only. Odd to be called a Imperial/Double IPA you would think it would be a big hoppy wallop, but not this beer. Pours a cloudy golden with a white head. Smells of citrus, orange and wheat. Taste of hops bitterness, citrus, slight apricots and vanilla. Bitterness lingers on the palate a bit, but overall very drinkable.

A copper amber ipa with a thin lacing light mocha head. In aroma, sweet fruity biscuit malt with nice piney floral hops, light tropical fruits. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity malt with nice piney floral hops, grapefruit pulp, well balanced. On tap at Indie Ale House.

Thanks to PaleAleRider for finding a bottle for me. Now written 9% ABV. Pours a dark black colour with very little ruby highlights. The beige head is big, creamy, has great retention and loads of creamy lacing. Aromas of roasted malt with some dark fruits getting stronger with time and hints of nuts and vanilla. The mouthfeel is kind of light and goes down smoothly as not much burning. Lots of hop creating some bitterness in the taste. This overpowers the roasted malt, chocolate, dark fruits and coffee notes. A hoppier-than-average Imperial Stout.

A dark brown stout with a very thin brown head. In aroma, sweet fruity chocolate malt with strange Kraft peanut butter smell, burned toasts, grape jelly, strange. In mouth, a sweet fruity chocolate malt with cloying grape jelly, peanut butter and coffee grind, not bad but once is enough. On tap at Arrow and Loon.

Enjoyed at the Brothers Beer Bistro. Pours a clean amber-brown colour with a creamy off-white very long lasting head and small patchy lace. Coffee nose with red amber ale fruity malt aromas. Wet mouthfeel with some light dryness in the finish. Medium-bodied. Hop is present in the taste, giving notes of mint and other herbs. Coffee, caramel and mild roasted malts are in the background. Nutty hints as well. Wow ! Head is still up at the end, and thick. A beautiful brew that has interesting flavours.

Very good, probably even better than the regular Voyage to Uranus. The raspberry adds just enough fruit to the beer and comes together well. Berry with roast malt, dark chocolate. Pours black, thick taste. Sweet and sour finish. Tap at Winterbrewed.

Light kriek with light taste of cherry. Some tinge of malt. Some barrel but the kriek and barrel kind of cancel each other out. The initial taste isn’t strong enough to withstand the barrel. Otherwise ok. Tap at Winterbrewed.
