Bottle: Poured a pitch-black color ale with a nice dark brown foamy head with good retention and some light lacing. Aroma consists of dry roasted malt with some bitter black chocolates. Taste is also dominated dry roasted malt notes with some dry bitter tasting black chocolate. Body is quite full with some creamy texture notes. Body is full with nice creamy texture with good carbonation and no apparent alcohol. Very enjoyable imperial stout with enough character and good drinkability level.

Very nicely done. Aroma has cranberry, hops, raspberry and some citrus. Nice head of foam with cloudy orange pour and great lacing. Well balanced. Finishes with light sourness and a little cranberry bitterness. Tap at Brothers Beer bistro.

650ml bottle from the LCBO. Pours a very dark reddish brown with a small dark brown head that leaves good lace. Smells of chocolate, vanilla and dark fruits. Starts with sweet chocolate and malt and then turns unexpectedly and pleasantly dry and bitter with a long finish. Mouth is a bit thin with soft carbonation. Excellent.

This is actually a decent beer, it just suffers from mislabelling . Its certainly not a bipa. Just an amber ipa with a fruity, tropical nose and a bitter grapefruit finish. Good balance, and a little better than the lone pine. Just needs some brand rethinking or this one will suffer from a few bad ratings. Cask at Brothers bistro.
