A clear amber alt with a thin off white head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with light grassy hops, grainy notes and light spicy notes. In mouth, a nice biscuit malt with mineral notes, grassy hops, nice and smooth with light woody character. On tap at Arrow and Loon.

Barrel is very heavy here, almost cancels everything else out. Pours reddish brown with ok head and lacing. Some malt and a little of that altbier flavour hidden in here. Finishes bitter with a little sweetness. Tap at volo.

Tap: Poured a black color stout with a small brown foamy head with good retention and some light lacing. Aroma of roasted malt with cinnamon is quite pleasant. Taste is at first a mix of cinnamon and roasted malt with light bitterness but then the cayenne notes kicks in way too strongly which makes the aftertaste really hot. Body is average with good carbonation. The cayenne adds an interesting edge tot his beer but is just too dominant at the end of the day.

Enjoyed at the National Capital Craft Beer Week. Pours a hazy golden colour and a white head. Fresh grassy hop nose. Nice dry mouthfeel with the bitter finish, and then some grain aftertaste. Flavours of fresh grass. Makes a beautiful hoppy wheat ale for summer, for those who like it hoppier.

Enjoyed at the National Capital Craft Beer Week. Pours a clean copper colour with a white head. Grainy malt nose with fresh hops that give out fruity notes. Nice slight dry finish. Again, fruity and cereal malt flavours. A nice grainy pale ale and good for this style.

Enjoyed at the National Capital Craft Beer Week. Pours a cloudy golden colour with a frothy white head and some dirty lacing. Sour and vinegar nose with some light fruits. Smooth, and no alcohol burn. Wet mouthfeel and medium-bodied. Wow ! Very well-blended between a sour ale and a fruity Belgian one. Quite interesting and very easy to drink for such a strong brew.

Enjoyed at the National Capital Craft Beer Week. First brew when I got there. Pours a dark brown colour with a beige head, very long retention and creamy lace. Coffee nose with some roasted malts. Smooth, almost creamy, and wet mouthfeel. Beautiful spicy dark malt taste with the warming finish from the cayenne pepper. Eventually, nice fruity notes come out, kind of like cherries. Very nice and very well-blended. Can’t wait to get this in bottles at the LCBO and a wicked start to the festival.

Pours cloudy red with minimal head and lacing. Some blueberry and basil comes through high here. Spice and fruit overtake the IPA hops by far here. Wouldn’t recommend. Tap at Barhop.
