Bottle 37,5 cl. Pours a cloudy, deep golden with huge, lumpy sediments and a small, rough, off-white head. Lovely woody aromas with underlying acetic acid. Medium body, full throttle sourness with the acetic acids in the front, Brett and lactic acids to a lesser degree. There's "something" in there, which is different from your typical Brekeriet Sour - I will assume it's the rose hips. 060325

Can 33 cl. Pours this weird, cloudy and opaque curry yellow from the saffron with a small, off-white head. Dusty, chemical aroma. Thin and watery body with slightly tart, chemical accents. Almost flat. I never understood the "hype" associated with this beer. It's utterly disgusting! 040325

(Bottle) Hazy golden amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Fruity nose with notes of oak wood, vinegar, grapefruit and tart fruit (apples, grapes). Fruity, tart taste with citrus, grapefruit, green apples, gooseberries, oak wood and vinegar. Low bitterness. Almost full body, dry. Rich, tart and woody. Very nice.

Varmrosa vätska, mjukt syrlig med fina vinröda fattoner som gifter sig fint med frukt och blommor. Elegant och sofistikerat och mycket gott.

Canned, from Systembolaget. Hazy golden, mid sized head. Rich aroma of grapes, cedar and tangerine. Mid sweet with medium body and well rounded, elastic Stone-style mouthfeel. Orange and grapes, some grass. Long bitter finish. After dozens of years making nothing but sours, Brekeriet steps into making IPA like champs already on day 1 (and then likely bowing out again in seconds).

Can 33 cl. Pours a cloudy red with a small, rough, pinkish head. Complex aroma of acetobacter and wild yeast paired with red fruits. Medium body, plenty of red berries on a very tart background. Unfortunately also an edge of unclean baking yeast as in so many Sours. 110225

Bottle from Bierkoning, Amsterdam. Aroma is wheaty with slightly tart citrus, lemon, spicy peppery yeast, and subtle barnyard funk. Flavour is light sweet and a bit tart with some mild bitterness in the dry finish. Body is medium. Seemed a bit too modest at first, but this Saison gradually yielded its subtle qualities.
