Bottle 33 cl. Pours a cloudy yellow with a tiny, rough, white head. Discreet noble rot aroma paired with some acetic acid - but subtle. Medium body, sweet noble rot, a citrusy fruitiness, acetic acid and perhaps some Brett in there as well. A slight chemical note in the background. 130325

Tap @ the brewpub. Hazy pink body with a small, pale pinkish head. Aroma is acidic berries and slightly funky. Flavor has sour fruit, probably plum, lemon and some kind of woody funk. Medium body and same aftertaste. Refreshing but a bit one-dimensional.

Bottle from Gulating. Unclear golden body with a small, fast disappearing white head. Aroma is very nice, distinct funky with wood, grape, vinous and acidic lemon. Flavor is tart and sour, fruity, funky, wood and lemon. Medium body and mostly funky, acidic aftertaste. A very refreshing wild ale that have some good qualities, but it’s also rather raw and far more acidic than most Belgium Geuze. If your not just having a sample for rating but actually drinking this bottle it’s pretty heavy on the acidic part. Interesting and real, but out of balance.

Can @ Cristianssand Brygghus. Slightly unclear golden body with a medium sized tan head. Aroma is just weird, like pastries during fermentation together with saffron, yogurt, ripe oranges and slightly rotten mushroom. Can’t really decide if this might be the intention or something wrong, just have to taste but not really looking forward to that. Flavor is less unpleasant than fared but still really weird. The same strange combo of fermenting things from the kitchen in combination with ripe fruit, oranges and distinct saffron, but also some kind of mild acidity as well. More a novelty beer for me than something to be enjoyed, but I had a great moment to share with Gunfryd while we had this wondering if it was something wrong or just something fu@in& crazy. We finished the bottle.

Sample at Haandfest 2019. Unclear golden with a small white head. Aroma has acid, yeast/dough hint of lemon and vanilla. Flavor is acid fruity and tart with lemon, vanilla and dough. Medium body and same aftertaste. A bit one-dimensional and plain, but still a refreshing one. Decent.

Bottle. A gusher, not too bad, did not loose much. Hazy pale golden body with a creamy white head. Aroma is funky and floral with some pale malt and citric fruit. Flavor is tart, floral, slightly citric fruity, some lemon, mild malt, medium acidity hint of cellar. Nice body and fine aftertaste. Tasty, nice floral sour. Very nice but not comparable with a real Belgium geuze.

Bottle 37,5 cl. Pours golden with a slight haze and a small, rough, white head. Aroma of noble rot and acetic acid, some wood as well. Medium body, low carbonation, lovely wood, noble rot and subtle acetic acid. Light yet extremely complex and fulfilling. 110325

Bottle 37,5 cl. Somewhat lifeless pour, cloudy golden with a tiny, rough, white head. Plenty of acetic acid, which I didn't really expect from a Gose. Medium body, sweet, noble rot, acetic acid galore and a faint, underlying salinity. Has a faint, chemical and gluey tang. 070325

Bottle 37,5 cl. Pours a cloudy, deep golden with huge, lumpy sediments and a small, rough, off-white head. Lovely woody aromas with underlying acetic acid. Medium body, full throttle sourness with the acetic acids in the front, Brett and lactic acids to a lesser degree. There's "something" in there, which is different from your typical Brekeriet Sour - I will assume it's the rose hips. 060325
