Bottle: Poured a cloudy dark brown color ale with a large light brown foamy head with good retention and some good lacing. Aroma of spices is more pronounced then I had anticipated with some fruity and sweet ester. Taste is a mix between some coriander and some other spices (maybe cardamom), some fruity ester with candy-like qualities and some residual sugars. Body is full with good carbonation and no apparent alcohol. Interesting though there is some rough edges and some more balance would be better.

A copper amber ale with a thin lacing off white to mocha head. In aroma, a herbaceous malt with light fruity esters, so-so. In mouth, a sweet treacle malt with very faint hops, watery bodied, nutty notes, very boring. On tap at Vices et Versa as Irish Red Ale, Dec. 16 2011.

Bottle: Poured a deep amber color ale with a large off-white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of candi sugar and fruity ester is quite charming. Taste is a nice balance mix between some candi sugar notes with some fruity ester and solid malt backbone with light dry fruits. Body is about average with good carbonation and no apparent alcohol. Very well brewed with nice drinkability/complexity level.

Bottle: Poured a black color stout with a nice light brown foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of floral coffee notes is nice and well balanced by lactose and roasted malt notes. Taste is a nice enough mix between some floral coffee notes without too much astringency and lactose notes. Body is about average with good carbonation. Not necessarily a style I cherish very much but still well brewed and balanced.

Bottle: Poured a medium copper color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of bitter hops with some resin and piney notes as well. Taste is a nice mix between some dry caramel malt with notes of bitter hops with a balance between some citrus and resin notes. Body is about average with good carbonation. Solid offering while not straying too far from the style.
