Description
The company was founded by Alastair Hook in 1999. He started the brewery in a small lock-up on an industrial estate, before moving to the Greenwich Brewery, and then to a site on nearby Blackwall Lane in 2010. It was purchased by SABMiller in May 2015. As part of the agreements made with regulators before Anheuser-Busch InBev was allowed to acquire SABMiller in 2016, Meantime was sold to Asahi Breweries of Japan in October 2016. Brewing moved to Fuller's in May 2024.

Fra fat på Heathrow T2: klar gylden med fint skum som varer. Tropiske frukter, granskudd, søte clementiner, hint av gressløk, samt fin maltsmak og mersmak i avslutningen.

(Can) Pours clear amber brown with small white head. Aroma of toffee and citrus. Medium body with good soft carbonation. Taste is ok with toffee, some herbal hoppyness, some citrus at the start. It’s drinkable but not very interesting.

In my point of view, it is a classical British IPA with a resinous side, hop, little sweet and malty, beautiful copper body, 21.07.17, buying it at the monoprix, St-Antoine, Paris and drinking it at home, Lausanne, Prélaz and it was a time that it was still possible to find some English beers before the brexit.

Bottle, 25cl. Probably a bit young, still nice. Toffee, caramel, bread, tannins, alcohol, brown sugar notes and dark fruits. Obviously should have been cellared a few more years, but nice anyway. 747415 250726
