Can from Dranken Vandewoude and drunk with Nelson. Cloudy orange amber colour lasting cream head. More a west coast dipa. Pine resin pink grapefruit. Its rather good I thought. Yes some strength but it handles it quite well
Decent bitterness on the finish. Yep good.

13 September 2025. At 17de Brugs Bierfestival. Cheers to the whole crew!

Vanilla, crackers, marshmallow, cappuccino. Sweet vanilla, coffee cream, bitter mocha. Lingering vanilla and boozy Kahlúa-like alcohol. Full body, viscous texture. Ridiculously thick, quite delicious.

13 September 2025. At 17de Brugs Bierfestival. Cheers to the whole crew!

Candied date & fig, brandy, toffee, gingerbread, vague chlorine. Very sweet candied date, fig, raisin, pear, caramel, biscuit. Soft herbal hops, dried fruits, heating brandy-like alcohol. Syrupy texture. Really good, manages to actually convey a layer of flavours instead of solely alcohol. Nice, Bram!

Can from Stacks. Hazy bright ochre, small, stable, off-white head. Aroma of ripe mango, melon, tangerine, honey, cheese rind, triple sec, candied orange peel. Taste has sweet melon, mango & peach and softly bitter orange peel in a biscuity, honeyish malt body, surrounded by dank & cheesy notes. Floral & peppery (oniony) hops in the finish, lingering bittersweet citrus peel, juicy tropical fruit and warming triple sec-like alcohol. Medium to full body, soft carbonation. Congrats, Bram, I'm certain that this can compete with an American NEIPA in a blind tasting. I could drink it by the gallon, love it!

330 ml bottle. Pours black with no head. Aromas of vanilla, dark caramel, soft oaky bourbon, dry chocolate nougat, and slick roasted malts. Flavors of fruity bourbon, charred oak, dark fruit, dark sugars, vanilla, and oily roasted malts. Dry dusty finish. Very good.

Bottle from Stacks. Hazy brown, thin, foamy, tan head. Aroma of dusty old raisins, prune, dried fig, brioche, syrup, wood, ripe grape, caramel, brandy. Taste has very sweet raisin, fig & date in a caramelly, syrupy malt body with some wood, dusty notes. Herbal hops in the finish, lingering dried fruits and boozy Armagnac alcohol. Full body, syrupy texture, soft carbonation. Quite fruity but 'old' and dusty too. Tastes like a potion indeed.
