Cork launches itself upon opening as cruise missile. Glass fills itself with snowwhite fully foam, if only for 10 secs, leaving behind a little ultra-pale butter-yellow, heavily carbonated liquid. Delicate fruit nose, but also with garden vegetables from the kitchen garden, and some sulphur. Hard to sniff really "pear". More pear at least in the flavour. It’s really fizzily carbonated, hampering the flavour, in fact. Very little sweet, serious point of acidity, truly brut. Blossomy flavour, and warming up, a very far away reminiscence of Brett. Overcarbonated, light body, slickness as from fruitjuice. Certainly not bad, but not a patch on the UK farmyard perries.

Bottled (from Alko, Vaasa). Golden colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is farmyard, bluecheese and some slight apples. Flavour is much the same, from quite sweet. Pleasant and nice.

Bottled, from Alko Vaasa. Hazy yellowish golden colour with small white head that disappears quite fast. Aroma is yeasty, acidic apples as well as some slight barnyard notes. Flavour is sour green apples as well as close-to-rotten-apple-sweetness. Even some very bready notes in this one. Pleasant balance. Beware of preassure and fountains when opening this one.
