I had this after two other samples but the nose still wasnβt that present. A bit of biscuit malt and peach cobbler in the nose, semi sweet. But the mouth, OMG, cereal notes, soft hoppiness, tons of herbal notes, nice soft carbonation. This is a healthy breakfast in a glass. Medium bitterness. So rounded and complex, but did not get any butter popcorn - which I am fine with. Lingering herbal and cereal notes. Amazing

Drank at the Aeon Mall near Okayama station. It was fresh and in perfect condition. golden color, frothy white head. Nice herbal saaz hoppy dry nose. Fantastically clean palate, dry, grassy, herbal and the rice was some what present in the back of the throat giving a touch of sake like character and sweetness. Biting bitter finish with herbal notes lingering. I like that the sake plays a really background note with this. Absolutely wonderful.

dark brown color. Off white head. Maybe the beer was too cold, but I didnβt get much nose. The mouth is light, modest roasted malt character and chocolate notes but not overly complex.

Taster at Aeon Mall Okayama. Rich rice and spice nose. Clear, oily, slightly yellow. Full, rich, slightly hot flavor with peaches and melon and spice. Full-ass body. Rice pudding, but not overly sweet, lightly acidic, grainy and full.

Bottle from Aeon Mall Okayama. Deep golden color with a high head. Hazy. Nice yuzu nose, juicy, with a bit of biscuity malt. Flavor is yuzu, biscuits, light caramel. Crisp, bright, citrusy. A bit too sweet, full body. Nice.

Tap at Aeon Okayama. Clear gold. Strong peach nose, candyish. Flavor is ridiculously sweet and cloying peach and little else. Thick and syrupy. No thanks.

Tap at Aeon Mall Okayama Doppo. Slightly hazy gold, high head. Yeasty, bready, biscuity malt nose with herbal, peppery Saaz hops. Flavor is big biscuit malt, slightly sweet, with a bitter, peppery finish. Also almost a touch of diacetyl, just like in Czechia. Very authentic. Great.

Bottle in Kurashiki. Medium brown amber, thick head. Caramel nose, light chocolate. Sweet caramel flavor. Slick. This is more like a sweet dark lager. Almost no hops and not dry in the finish.

Bottle in Kurashiki. Old brewery closed, now made by the Doppo brewers. Medium blonde, thick head. Herbal, hoppy nose, bready malt with light honey and biscuits. Malty, lightly sweet, bready, herbal hops with lemon. Crisp bitterness in the finish. Creamy and smooth. A bit sweet, estery, and creamy for the style but enjoyable. Decent.
