500 ml bottle. Clear dark golden with a foamy head. Malt, hay, straw, grain, metal, zest, bread, wort. Malty sweetness, dry hoppy metallic bitterness. Medium bodied, oily texture, lively carbonated, dry malty strawy metallic bitter finish. Good characterful Helles.

Klar bernsteinfarben mit nahezu nicht vorhandener weißer Schaumkrone. Prägnant süß malziger Geruch. Geschmacklich malzig, getreidig mit einem Hauch Karamell und spürbarem Alkohol. Hohe Süße mit leichter Bitterkeit, mittlerer Körper mit sanfter Kohlensäure.

Pours light brown with reddish hues, still quite transparent. Two fingers of rather dense slightest off-white head, good retention and very nice lacing. Nice looking beer. Not much intensity in the aroma: a mainly nutty malt base with a kinda soft, slightly dough-like dark bread element, a hint of spiciness and a sugary feel. Taste notes follow the aroma, with half nutty, half bready malts and a quite vivid sugary feel taking the main stage, plus some spiciness in the background. Quite sweet in the mouth with it's sugary character, but showing hints of herbal/tea altbier-like bitterness in a quite dry, cleansing finish. Quite light in body with classicly delicate german carbonation; very easygoing on the mouth. A fairly sugary but still balanced example of the style, not much intensity (at least in this bottle). Clear amber. Aroma is malty grainy grünkern with light noble hops. Taste is sweet grainy malt with mild bitter hops. Rather thick and not too much carbonation. Not bad.

Optisch dunkles Braun, ordentlich Schaum. In der Nase Getreide, im Trunk malzig, würzig, aber auch etwas muffig. Dazu etwas Schokolade. Leicht unrund.
