Aroma of fruits, peppery spices, coriander (?), bread, floral notes, yeast. Flavour is bready and spicy, medium sweet, with a bittersweet finish. Okay and drinkable, but not very memorable.

Aroma of malt, caramel, sweet dark fruits, yeast, spicy notes, some candy sugar, raisins. Flavour is moderate to medium sweet with a light bittersweet finish. Not bad, but kind of dull.

Huge, ultra-dense & fine yellowish head over very carbonated, veiled orange-golden beer, lacey. Spicy nose (dense head seriously hampers pronasal perception). I seem to get coriander. White candi sugar, preserved citrus and fake citrus. Sweet and coriander, citrus-y. In the finish and aftertaste, there is caramel, banana, white bread. Quite creamy-slick, due to the spicing and carbonation. Coriandersoup. They keep brewing it, it's hopeless.

Very huge, dense, irregular foxy cream coloured head over reddish, deep brown beer; lots of lace. Sweet nose with brown sugar over-obvious, herbs, wood, chocolate, hops. Bitterish coffee, chicory, with sweet & roasted malts underneath. Hint of sulphur, and melanoidins, of course. Malt- and sugarsweetness starts to build up, certainly after some warming up, but the coffee-ish & leafy bitterness remains on top. At least medium bodied, not feeling thick, but bit creamy feel from the head. Medium to well-carbonated in the end. Classic (if more Walloon than Flemish character), but quite well executed, feared worse.
