12oz can from Tavour. Hazy straw colored pour, thick, fluffy head. Aroma is melon, fruity. More melon in the taste, light tropical notes and a nice bitterness that rises up in the middle. Nice mouthfeel too, creamy.

Can from Tavour. Pours a Guinness pour. Dark brn/blk with a fine lofty head that gradually releases the beer. Aroma of dark chocolate, bourbon and coffee. And burnt malt. Smooth and full bodied. Flavor is bourbon/heat, coffee, burnt malt and chocolate. Not dry, but not sticky. Bitter from coffee, burnt malt and heat. Heat is just a flavor here. Somehow it thins with time, but still quite a beer. Tasty stuff.

Can from Tavour. Pours quite hazy gold with a large foamy/creamy white head. Aroma of dankish resin/pine with white berries and melons. Tropicals mixed. More than med body. Flavor is slightly earthy attached to more than slightly dank. I'll go with the aroma description for flavor. Juicy but not undry. More than moderately bitter. Bitter rules the mouth. Excellent.

Can. Pours clear black, medium creamy tan head, lasting with good lacing. Aroma is maple, oak, cocoa, anise. Flavor is medium sweet, light plus bitter. Medium body. Lingering aftertaste. Maple is hard to do well. Tupps has not succeeded.

Straight up, I’ll take a west coast style over a hazy style any day. But I’ll also dance with the girl what brung me. A 12 oz can bought at the favored HEB down the road, opened and poured into my ABGB snifter. I see an opaque, lemon yellow liquid along with a monstrous head of pure white bubbles. A sniff gives pine and juice. The drink now, not bad. A bit resiny, orange juice, grass, hops and a small sweetness.

Can. Pours a clear yellow with a gold hue and a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has sweet and bitter grapefruit with a bit of rind and some light sweet grains underlying. Flavor is full of bitter grapefruit with a bit of rind and a hint of sweetness in the finish.

Can. Pours a hazy light yellow with a white head that dissipates to the edges and laces slightly. Aroma has citrus rind and grass with a bit of earthy mango and flora supporting. Flavor is citrus forward with a bit of flora, light mango and a hint of sweet grains backing.
