Blonde ale brewed by a client brewery in Lemmer, a picturesque town in southern Friesland; tasted there from a bottle at some random pub. Snow white, moussy, small-bubbled, stable but slowly breaking head, misty peach blonde robe with vague ochre-ish tinge. Aroma of coriander seed, damp kitchen towel, banana peel, peach, powder sugar, sandwiches, white soap. Sweetish onset with impressions of unripe banana, dried apricot and apple peel, fizzy and even stingy carbonation, strongly minerally through a supple, cereally pale malt sweetishness with some honeyish residue on top yet not overly sweet; what is overly present though, is soapy coriander seed, dominating the finish and overruling a soft, floral hop bitterishness. Yet another boring Belgian style βterrasjesblondjeβ, overcoriandered and simplistic, but technically alright.
