Beautiful dark brown, more of a toasty, nutty aroma. Lightish body for style. Light nutty, mild roasted coffee, some chocolatey richness to the body in the end. A bit of alcohol as well. Good flavour development but this is begging for some richer sugars. It’s a good beer.
But this idea, if amped up to baller levels like 14%, would be another level of class, and a base for phenomenal things, like a four year heaven hill or willett residency.

Opaque, pale. Has a nice floral accent, peachy notes, a splash of alcohol. Light hop burn, decent malt, as they usually have.

Poured from the tap @ Threefold. Chill hazed blonde with small white head. Light bodied, mild banana esters, soft hefe yeast. Wish it had slightly more body. Okay.

Cloudy, good bitterness, guava, peach fruity hop notes. Malts are lean, not my ideal balance.

On tap at Threefold. Pours murky dull gold with a white head. Gentle ashy smoke and a dry banana/clove yeast expression on the nose. Flavour has a nice, ashy smoke with the banana and cloves taking the background. I'm not normally a fan of hefeweizens, but this comes together nicely.
