On tap at Farmhouse Festival Vancouver, pours a cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out guava upfront, followed by light brett funk and a touch of hops. Flavour is harmonious, with lovely brett and guava upfront, with a slight floral hop finish. Complex and wonderfully balance. Excellent.

On tap at Farmhouse Festival Vancouver, pours a cloudy blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out a mix of ginger and Szechuan peppers. Flavour is similar, with a mix of ginger, pepper and Szechuan peppers. Not especially tasty, but it is what it says. Decent.

On tap at Farmhouse Festival Vancouver, pours a deep dark red with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of pithy boysenberries and some soapy notes. Flavour is no good, with soap, tart berries and more detergent. Something massively wrong here. Drain pour.

On tap. Pours a slightly hazy orange-red with a medium, creamy, long lasting, off-white head that laces. Sweet aroma of caramel malt, bread, grass and light stone fruit. Sweet flavour of caramel malt, bread, grain and light fruit with a dry grassy, mildly bitter finish. Light body with an oily texture and soft carbonation. Pretty solid, better than I expected.

Hazy with an amber colour. Thick head. Crackery malt, and it has a toasty character. Bit yeasty, but with a fresh amber malt taste.

Draught at Strange Fellows,
Hazy blond color, small head. Spicy, balanced, rather dry but robust, clean and quite refreshing. A bit of rosemary and vegetable character.
Nice Saison, a bit sweeter and without the character of the Belgian ones, but well brewed.
