Slight hazy, bubbly head, aroma has some light phenols and a lot of orangey character. Light pale malts, light bitterness, bit of biscuity, and a touch of orangey character. Not bad.

Draught at the brewery
Black color with small compact brownish head. Mild aroma of roasted malts, and the flavor is stronger, but not burnt; the mouthfeel is nice and smooth, solid; dark chocolate too appears here, and it has a good level of bitterness.
More Stout than Porter, graciously brewed.

Draught at the brewery
Cloudy dark blond color with compact head. Decent Belgian Ale, with some earthy yeast character, mild malt flavor, a bit chewy, and luckily the flowers are not really evident. Balanced bitterness.
Pleasant.

Draft 10 oz pour at the Alibi Room. Very much looking forward to a tasting this weekend with everyone who has rated this beer. Good group of guys for sure. The beer pours a cloudy golden copper with a thin foam head. Soft smokey start, but grows throughout the palate. Lingering peat malt finish. Barely getting any honey sweetness, but that’s not a big deal for me. The beer holds its own as it is. High carb, but a smooth finishing beer. A well done smoked ale for sure.

Bottle - Caramel, nuts and lots of woody notes. Deep murky brown with a light brown head. Soured malts, nutty notes and some wood. Caramel prevails and sourness is mild and a bit disjointed.
