Draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver
Cloudy light amber color. Light smoke aroma and flavor, but the body is too thin, and the final very weak, while there is no real malt flavor or other elements to create some interest.

Draught at Alibi Room, Vancouver
Cloudy amber color, creamy head. Some bubblegum and spices, but also yeast and stale pond water; light residual sweetness; the body is thin for a Weizenbock, and there is a serious lack of character. Un-German.
Not interesting.

On tap at Steel & Oak, pours a cloudy opaque orange with a small white head. Aroma is fruity, with notes of toasted nuts, banana, clove and fruitiness. Flavour is very fruity, with the exact same notes, finishing on fruity and toasted notes. Not the most robust for the style, but quite pleasant. Decent.

On tap at Steel & Oak, pours a cloudy opaque golden orange with a small white head. Nose brings out floral hops, followed by lightly fruity hops, and dry biscuity malt. Flavour is very dry, with notes of floral hops, dry biscuity malt and light fruitiness. Dry, bright and fresh. It's a solid beer if unspectacular.
