Paradise Coconut Hopfenweisse from Tin Whistle Brewing Company

On tap at St. Augustines, pours a cloudy yellowish blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out notes of coconut chips, light dry hopping, and clove. Flavour is heavy on the coconut upfront, followed by banana, light clove and dry hopping. The coconut finishes this off in pleasant fashion. Bizarre creation that is rather puzzling. Okay for what it is.

Bottle - Light whisky notes and a touch of Apple. Clearish Amber with a decent beige head. Apple, peel and nice whisky caramel notes.

On tap at Tin Whistle, pours a hazy dark amber brown with a small beige head. Aroma brings out light bready malts and a touch of caramel. Flavour is offensive, with perfumey apple notes, paint thinner, and loud toasted caramel. This is vile - perfumey, nail polish-y and harsh in general. Terrible.

On tap at Tin Whistle, pours a hazy golden orange with a small off-white head. Aroma brings out bready malt and floral English hops. Flavour is along the same lines, with bitter floral English hops and biscuity malt. Very floral on the finish. Not overly refined. Meh.

On tap at Tin Whistle, pours a hazy amber with a small beige head. Aroma brings out caramel and light buttery notes (hint of diacetyl?). Flavour is cloyingly sweet and syrupy, with lots of sickeningly sweet caramel. What were they thinking with this? Pretty bad.
