Otton Organic Beer 5% a lager I guess that pours a crystal clear light gold with an eggy green bitting noble hop aroma. Medium bodied and smooth. The taste is creamy light malts with a bitting noble hop character. Not exciting but solid.

Tap at Mikkeller. Deep brown to black with a 2-finger soapy beige head. Cacao, coffee, prune, raisin and roasted malt aromas. Medium to light body, slightly creamy on the palate with soft to medium-light carbonation. Some light smoke as well as it warms. Body feels light and feathery and hides the 7% abv very well. Nice dry, roasty finish with some light fruit. A bit boring maybe, but well-done. --- Beer merged from original tick of Kokage Stout on 27 Nov 2015 at 19:19 - Score: 7

Pours clear golden, not much head to speak of. Aroma is crisp and not very strong, hints of bready barley and grass. Taste is crisp and refreshing. Quite clean with malty and lingering aftertaste. Good beer for fast drinking I guess.

From tap at Beerfes Kamikochi 2015. Poured hazy pale, thick viscosity, consistent white head. Aroma of fresh and fruity hops, resinous. Taste is also aggressively bitter, very oily and resinous. Although I believe they have used a great load of hops, it does not feel unbalanced, fruity body is standing nicely and maybe - getting some reinforcement from the hop-oils and resins that make the body feel stronger than it actually is. Brilliant beer, big surprise actually.

Molasses and cacao in the nose. Thin mouth cacao. Kinda weird finished with touch of vegetale. Not really my thing.

frothy white head. Golden color. Lots of cereal malts. Weak malty body with low hops. Boring, but not poorly made.

Bottle from the brewery. Nose is chocolate, umami soy. Deep black with a low lacy head. Full, rich flavor, lots of chocolate, soy sauce, a bit of cream. Raosty coffee and full bitterness. A bit light, but very drinkable and good.

Bottle from the brewer. Nice biscuity, bready malt nose. Light citrus hop, but malt-centered. Slightly dark gold with a low, fine head. Sweet and mellow flavor, nice smooth, rich malts, with just a bit of lemon and herbal hop. PRetty much hits the helles style. Tasty and drinkable, though maybe a touch heavy. Well done.

Bottle from the brewery. Pale gold with a tall, foamy head. Lots of visible carbonation. Decent biscuit malt nose, light hop, a bit of citrus. Quite sweet, with rather low hop flavor but a clean bitterness in the finish. Rather full body, and a bit too gassy. Slightly sweet, but decent.

Bottle from the brewery. Grassy hops in the nose, light malt. Light, crisp flavor, grass, crisp light sweetness. Nicely drinkable and well made, if not so exciting.
