Location: Bottle at the Brewpub, 8/25/12, as American Strong Ale, this version was listed on the menu with an 8.9% ABV, and had a very similar (but slightly different description)
Aroma: The nose is caramel, with pine/resin, some fruity and alcohol notes
Appearance: It pours a reddish color with a bubbly beige head and drippy lace
Flavor: The taste is fairly sweet and it has a medium bitterness to it as well
Palate: The body is medium-plus with a slightly sticky feel, and a dry, lightly hot finish
Overall Impression: I found this one to be a quite solid beer. It has a nice feel and a nice mix of flavors. I enjoyed this one for sure.

Location: Bottle at the Brewpub, 8/25/12
Aroma: The nose is fairly sweet, orange is prevalent, caramel, spice, yeast, and banana
Appearance: This one pours a reddish-orange color with a long lasting fizzy white head
Flavor: The taste is medium-plus sweet, there's some spice and mild bitterness for balance
Palate: It has a medium body, with a nice mouthfeel, average-plus carbonation, and a tingly finish
Overall Impression: Really nice stuff, fairly sweet and a touch too carbonated, but really good overall. I was impressed by this one, it was better then I was expecting.

Location: Draft at the Brewpub, 8/25/12
Aroma: The aroma has some zesty wheat, yeast, and that distinct smell of lemon pledge
Appearance: This one pours a cloudy golden color with a white head
Flavor: The taste is light-medium sweet and lightly bitter
Palate: The body is light and smooth with a pretty good mouthfeel
Overall Impression: I thought that this one was decent for the style, but not great. This wasn't quite up to the level of most of the rest of the 508 beers I have tried.

Location: .5 L bottle at the Brewpub, 8/25/12
Aroma: This one has a nice, mildly sour nose, with lemon/citrus, yeast, and some wheat
Appearance: It pours into the glass a clear golden color with a fizzy white head
Flavor: The taste is lightly sweet and light-medium sour, with a smooth and balanced flavor
Palate: The body is fairly clean, with a rather heavy carbonation, and a somewhat acidic feel/finish
Overall Impression: I thought this beer was quite good, the heavy carbonation takes away from it a bit, but it is definitely a good one. This is another very well-made and interesting offering from 508.
