Golden color, decent white head. Papery nose with light citrus and iron. Light to medium body. Light citrusy hoppyness and sweet pale maltyness. Light lingering lemon fruityness in the aftertaste. Clean, but boring Kölsch. Another one which is probably much better from fresh tap.

Bottle at RBNAG-2009. Golden colour with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malt, fruit, grain. Flavour is sweet, malt, fruit, grain, apple. Medium body. OK beer.

Draught at the Brewpub. Dryish, slight cardboard flavor. Medium rich malt, decent hops, a bit fruity. Not super distinctive, but all right. One of the least impressive Kolsches I had in Cologne.

Bottled (from bierzwerg.de). Golden colour, mediumsized off-white head. Aroma is bready malts, some earth, herbs and mild notes of grass as well. Flavour is earth, saltwater, bready malts and some herbal notes as well. Quite pleasant. Underlying dryness between the mouth and throat from this one.

On tap at the brewpub in Köln. Clear golden with a small white head disappeared quickly. Sweet malty aroma with some fruits. Light body, and quite light but clean taste. Some bitterness in the aftertaste. Ok to the food but not that interesting.

bottle from Bierzwerg. Clear pale golden colour, large white head. Fruity nose. Malty background with fruity flavours and a touch of aromatic hops. Not spectacular, but solid and pleasant.

500 ml bottle sampled@RBNAG 2009, Vatlandsvåg. Golden body with a disappearing white head. Mild aroma of grain and some hops. Flavor is refreshing apple fruity with light grain and some bitterness. OK in a way, but a bit straightforward.

On tap at the brewpub. A clear, straw-colored beer with a finger-thick white head. Nice lacings forming. Quite weak on the nose, but blending grains and fruits nicely. The flavor has a nice fruityness, apples and pears, is quite low on malty flavors. Some bitterness going into the finish. Medium body, nicely carbonated and semi-dry. A nice one, even though it starts a bit boring. 091009

Bottle 50cl. @ home.[ Trade by yespr ]. Clear sparkling, light to medium yellow orange color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, bread, grain, light to moderate hoppy, grass. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20091126]

500 ml bottle. as Schreckenskammer Wirtz, 4.8% ABV, at RBNAG 2009 in Vatlandsvåg, thanks to Gunnar. Golden colour, low head. Grainy, herbal and slightly spicy aroma. Fairly well balanced pilsener-like flavour, easy drinking, with a slight fruitiness and herbal hints, acceptable hoppy bitterness.
