Tap(@ the mock-brewpub, Gräfrath): Golden, presumably hazy [served in a Steinkrug], mid-sized creamy and lacy white head, that slowly collapses; mild yeasty and fruity nose, accompanied by delicate aromas of vegetables and a slight metallic touch; mild - again - bitter-sweet flavour, pretty light bodied; slightly lingering dryish bitter-yeasty finish. Sigh! Not better than any mass-market Bier…

(@The brewpub): Deep golden with an orangey sheen, cloudy,mid-sized creamy off-white head; bananas, lemons, yeast and wheat in the astonishingly sourish nose; moderate sourish-sweet flavour, creamy MF, quite light bodied; sourish-fruity and yeasty-wheaty finish. Tap(@Alt Ohligs): Ruby-amber coloured, clear, creamy and very stable off-white head; moderate caramelly-toasty nose, mild hops in the background; dryish but mild bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied and soft; slightly lingering toasty and bitter-chocolatey finish. Nothing wrong with it, perhaps a bit too malt-accented…

Tap: Pale golden to golden, small white lacy head, lazy carbonation; mild sourish-fruity nose, some tame hops floating around; mild dry bitter-sweet flavour with a delicate refreshing acidity, light bodied; a light tartness in the bitter-fruity finish. Not great, but surely nothing wrong with it…

Not much better than a german mass-market Pilsener…

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein klars dunkel bernsteinfarbenes Bier mit geringer Schaumkrone. Geruch sehr leicht röstmalzig, etwas bitter, fruchtig. Geschmack malzig, Karamell, leicht bitter hopfig, etwas metallisch.
