4-pack at my local convenient store. Pours a hazy light-golden colour with a fizzy-bubbly white head that goes away quickly, leaving a little foam around the edge. Sweet orange nose at first, but eventually the spices and yeast comes out. Not sure why the put the ABV down in 2010 as it taste a little too watery. Very mild watered-down orange juice in light beer. My first one was alright from the can, and I think that is how I will drink the rest.

Depanneur Peluso, Montreal can: Pours amber with a white head. Aroma is caramel and a bit of hops. There really isn’t much to this beer aside of it being a straightforward, basically drinkable amber ale. I am in no rush to have anything like again.

A deep dark stout with a thick creamy and lacing mocha head. In aroma, a rather peaty chocolate malt with herbal notes, not bad. In mouth, a nice fruity bitter chocolate malt with coffee notes, well done. On tap at Archibald YUL.

Can: Poured a light yellow color lager with a medium white foamy head with medium retention and some light lacing. Aroma of lightly sweet cereal notes is pretty simple. Taste is also dominated by light sweet cereal notes with limited aftertaste. Body is about average for style with good carbonation. Simple but well brewed for the style. This is not something I would drink on a regular basis but well brewed for the style that the brewery was aiming for.

Canette 473ml.

Tasted on tap at the brewery’s pub in Lac Beauport, Québec on August 9th 2012. Aromas are light floral. Head is perfect with exceptional lacing. Color is dark straw and very sparkling. Flavors are sweet and malty with notes of honey to start with. Then hops are taking over with floral and grassy notes. The balance hop / malt is almost perfect. Sweet accents of malt are making a good job on the body. A high quality pilsner. The second best one I tasted after L’Amère à boire’s Cërna.
