Pours black, oily and headless. Aroma full of smoke, peat, chocolate, Holunderbeeren. Taste is sweetish up front, trending mildly sour at the finish. Intense, lingering smoked sausage notes at the finish—oddly partnering with an oak, vanilla character. Heavy, oily body, mild carbonation. Fun and interesting, but not exactly harmonious.

Can in the H10 Malaga, from El Rincon Del Cervercero, 25/09/23. Moderately hazed golden yellow with a good sized white cap. Nose is orange zest, pineapple, papaya, mixed tropical fruit cocktail, soft malts, kiss of the Lilt Man. Taste comprises orange zest, grapefruit melon, papaya, grass, lychee, faint pine. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spliced with juicy come lightly resinous hop bitterness. Tidy enough easy drinking DIPA.
