CASPAR, a hospitable and modern ‘brown’ grandcafé, located in Klarendal, Arnhem,
His passion for craft beers and his hospitality, made Wolter decide to serve his clients more than just the standard. Over the past few years Wolter has come up with a lot of ideas for beers. These ideas are getting realized via Brewery CC by Oldskool since all beers from the CC brewery are brewed with the help of Dennis Kort from Oldskool Brewery. The brewery does not have the intention to market its beers more widely, neither in retail nor in the hospitality industry.

Tap at Fränkisches Bierfest. Brown opaque. Banana toffee vanilla, tonka, baileys, hazelnut. Full, roasted, coffee. Light. Good drinkability. I like. But this is not an old ale.

Draft at the franconian Bierfest. Darkest brown, offwhite head. Nutty , chocolate, boozy, nice wooden roast, great balance, very drinkable despite the temperature we are drinking it at. Sparkling finish, very nice.

Draft at Fränkisches Bierfest. Cloudy golden, white head. Herbal, leafy, grassy, somewhat catty, not getting the hoppy spritziness I would expect. Pleasant metallic finish. Had higher hopes.

Sampled @ Bierfestival Oirschot 2025. Opaque black color, small off-white head. Aroma and flavor are malts, malty bitters, bitter. Hard to describe this one. Not bad though. 8-7-7-7-7

From tap at Het Brouwhuis, Amersfoort. Roasty aroma with coffee, soft hops, some chocolate and pine. Light fruity, some citrus. Bit more malt-forward than hop. Body is medium. Medium bitter, light to mild sweet.

From tap at Freddy's Beerkitchen, Nijmegen. Nicely malty aroma with toffee, caramel, some fudge, and nutty notes. Moderate to medium bitter and mild sweet. Medium body. Pretty tasty with firm rich malts... Good beer.

Expired bottle. One of my first “imperial” mild ales. Aroma promises caramel and old leather jacket with some faint, berry-like hints. Taste is very mildly bitter with a faint tartness at the back. Body to the light side of medium, a touch watery, mild carbonation, boozy towards the end. Ok.
