16oz can from Lidl. Poured a very dark brown, cola color with a small off-white head. Aroma was a very mild nutty malt. Flavor was pleasant malty nutty notes. Light sweet malt finish.

500ml can from the Costco Advent Calendar, drank at my daughters place on 8th December 2921. Brown bodied with a tanned topping that didn't want to stay around for long. Obviously malt driven with a mini-sweetness in the coffee and chocolate tasting brew. Not the best Dunkler Bock out there, but this is fine.

The aroma is bitter - sweet, earthy roast, toasty, bourbon biscuits, caramel, umami, coffee and fruit & nut chocolate. The taste is dry, toasty, earthy roast, coffee grounds, bitter - sweet, toasted nut, brown bread, dried fruits, raisin, date, prune, spice, touch of umami, toffee, dried fruits, touch of alcohol and cacao nibs. Can 5 from the Costco Advent pack. Pours clear dark brown with a creamy tan head. Aroma of dark malt and notes of dark chocolate. Arguably full bodied. Flavor has dark malt, spice, chocolate - there was a momentary touch of tin. Not far from dry; moderately bitter. A little rye comes out after awhile. Finishes a bit earthy. Very nice.
