Clear 750 via Press in their Rose summer box. Pint glass at home, 4 weeks post hurricane. Still showering with bottled water & a camping bladder. Clear if a bit jellied, orange rosé, lingering froth. Rounded floral berry over an earthy sweet apple base, brown & macerated. Bittersharp skin, sweet-tart, somewhat dessert-y. Strong lemon, grape skins, sour pineapple & rose water botanicals. Surprisingly clean, long tart & middling tannic finish, slight sulfites on the tail, low abv feels. Frothy, strong but soft bubbles, a bit of heat. Maybe a touch too delicate. Drinks well. Very familiar taste for something grown so far away.

Why is this listing in German? Clear 750ml from Press online, imported by Petit Mornde in Portland, then shipped to me in North Carolina. Long trip. Three weeks in the fridge to mostly settle. Lo-ball glass @home. Starting dull if clear, by the second pour it is a consistent honey gold. Floral, cactus, cooked lime, honey, bittersweet apple nose; Lovely. Semi-sweet. Earthy skin, appropriately floral-honey quince, cooked pineapple, wax, lingering pear sweetness, black pepper, just a twinge of tartness, middle-low acidity. Lacking a little tannic structure but is amazing everywhere else. Hyper frothy texture, waxy, somewhat pithy finish, 6% feels a bit to under utilized. Re-carbed in the bottle is necessary & appreciated. Having had my share of starstruck quince beverages, this is still very, very tasty.

0,75 bottle @Luppolo Station in Rome-Italy. Rosee clear pour with just a lacing. Nose is berries, raspberries, a bit cellar notes. Mouth starts kind of sweet sugary and ends fruity/seedy. Berries again. Good.
