Description
In 1995 Harry van de Wiel decided to establish the Stadsbrouwerij Rotterdam. The brewery is decorated in the style of the old town hall of Delfshaven, the wood-copper kettles in which brewing takes place are a good example of this. In the meantime Harry's son has taken over the stirring stick and continues his father's passion.

Bottle at WWT3. Poured a dark mahogany with a thin tan head. The aroma is dry alcoholic and the liqourice is very evident too. The flavour is strong bitter with lots of alcoholic liqourice on the slightly rich and burning palate. Nice, but only in small quantities.
